CHP İstanbul Parliamentarian Yarkadaş: “Custody and arrests for activists defending human rights aim to condemn society to silence.”
CHP İstanbul deputy Barış Yarkadaş said, “The government, which is trying to make human rights violations invisible, takes hostage takers, this is a two-way policy.”
CHP İstanbul deputy Barış Yarkadaş who followed the “Büyükada Davası”, which was started to be seen in Çağlayan Adliyesi and 11 people were tried, answered the questions of the journalists.
Speaking to media organizations, including German 1st Channel and Austrian ORF TV, Yarkadaş used the phrase “it would be unreasonable to talk about law in a trial with a hollow indictment”. Yarkadaş said.
RELATIONSHIP METHOD
This is a hostage and blackmail policy. It arrests a foreign national and thus establishes a diplomatic and political relationship with the administrators of the state in which he belongs to country. The relationship which is with Macron is the most concrete proof of this.
Yarkadas also pointed out that AKP has taken hostage under the name of arresting human rights activists, “Turkey is no longer ruling and applying more pressure.” Human rights violations have exploded and they are putting pressure on them not to hear and to object to them. they are filling a bag with the accusation “of the organization.
‘’A SILENT COMMUNITY”
Yarkadaş also quoted that human rights activists were being intimidated by the arrest of the activists, saying, “They want a thirsty and insurmountable society.”
The CHP deputy also said that the repression extends to the courtroom. Yarkadaş said, “A new repression policy is being implemented in the courthouses, and yesterday the Social Media Case has been massed with the Rapid Force in the hall. Today, the hall is full of civilian police officers, everyone in the courtroom ,defendants, prosecutors, judges and observers remain in the police shadow. ‘’Such a trial will not happen’’ Yarkadaş said.
CHP Parliamentarian Yarkadaş, AKP Deputy and Human Rights Commission President Mustafa Yeneroglu also saw the stalling ‘’I hope this is also seen in the weirdness,” he said.
